Roy Whitney

Roy Whitney is a successful private equity investor with over 35 years of industry experience. Mr. Whitney was President and CEO, and then Chairman of Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company, Inc. ("HKW"). HKW is a New York-based private equity firm focused on sponsoring buy-outs of privately owned businesses, subsidiaries and divisions of corporations, and public companies. Mr. Whitney joined HKW in 1971 when it was a private merchant bank. During the 1980s, Mr. Whitney helped direct HKW toward its future in long-term investments through the acquisition of operating companies.
